'Views', a podcast by the famous American YouTubers David Dobrik and Jason Nash is a typical informal chat-based podcast that falls in the genre of comedy, where Jason and David talk and joke about things and people from their life, and the bizarre situations that their crazy routines as famous people land them into. About The Hosts David Dobrik- David Dobrik is a Slovak-American internet personality with over 18.3 million subscribers and 7 billion views on Youtube. He became well-known for the 'vlogs' that he started putting out on his Youtube channel in 2015. He has also voice-acted in the 'Angry Birds Movie 2' and is the co-founder of the photography app 'Dispo'. Jason Nash- Jason Nash is an American internet personality, comedian, and actor. He had a well-known channel on Vine in addition to appearing on 'Last Comic Standing' in 2010. About The Podcast 'Views' is a podcast hosted by the famous internet personalities David Dobrik and Jason Nash which falls into the genre of comedy. In this podcast, David and Jason talk and joke about the situations and people in their life, where they sometimes even invite guests, but in the initial few episodes of the show, it was almost entirely centered around them. In addition to all of this, they sometimes conduct different activities like playing fun games on the show with the guests. The initial episodes were about an hour-long but the recent ones have shrunk down to approximately thirty minutes. They highlight in the podcast, the behind-the-scenes of their Youtube vlogs, podcast, alternative channels, and other content that they create. Some of the podcast episodes include 'Money Buys Happiness', 'Living The American Dream', 'Cheating And Relationships', and 'Going To Jail'. Personal Verdict 'Views' is a hilarious podcast, with a new topic every single episode. David and Jason have really outdone themselves when it comes to creating a natural flow of conversation, blending in perfectly just the appropriate amount of humor to make the podcast as enjoyable as possible. During the entirety of each episode, we can see Jason and David try to poke fun at each other, at the people in their lives, and the odd situations that they have found themselves in at several points in their lives. It is also interesting to see the dynamic of David, a relatively much younger person, and Jason, a middle-aged man, and how they come together to understand and explore each other's senses of humor. They share snippets of some behind-the-scenes of their YouTube videos, Instagram posts, Podcast episodes, and other social media content that they keep putting out regularly. While David always seems to be the one who is able to pull Jason's leg more, sometimes Jason too has nice comebacks to aid his friend in getting a taste of his own medicine. It is all fun and games, which might even sound offensive to some in the audience if they're not aware of the dynamic that David and Jason share, but soon one gets used to it. A drawback of the podcast is that the hosts have included way too many advertisements which sometimes tend to break the flow of the episodes, but on the other hand, the uploads for the podcast are pretty consistent and well-timed. The Bottom Line 'Views' is the perfect podcast for a David Dobrik or Jason Nash fan. It is highly instrumental in providing a good peek into their lives and getting to know more about them as people. It is a good pick if one wants something light to listen to and have a laugh with. My Ratings for the Podcast- 5 on 5 Listen to the podcast on Spotify Written by Smriti Gupta Edited by Tamanna Rathor
